VILANOVA PARK Cancellation Guarantee
In order to cover possible setbacks that may occur, we offer the VILANOVA PARK cancellation guarantee:
What does the guarantee cover?
By taking out the guarantee, you will obtain better conditions in case you cannot carry out your stay as you had contracted. You can cancel the reservation up to 48 hours before your arrival, (deducting the cost of the guarantee itself and 20 euros in management costs), if any of the following reasons have occurred:
- Due to serious illness, hospitalization, serious accident or death of the reservation holder, partner, or first-degree relatives.
- Material damage to the holder’s home, which makes their presence essential.
- Serious breakdown or theft of the reservation holder’s vehicle or caravan,
- Accident or breakdown of the vehicle during the journey to the campsite.
- Administrative or judicial summons of the holder produced after the reservation was made
- Dismissal, job transfer or closure of the holder’s company produced after the reservation was made
Exclusions from the cancellation guarantee
The cancellation guarantee does not cover the following cases:
- No-show (no presentation without prior notice).
- Date changes that do not imply a total cancellation.
- Damage or effects derived from a strike, war or terrorist acts.
- Damage produced directly by the holder of the reservation or the persons accompanying the reservation.
- Causes produced or originating prior to the contracting of the guarantee.
- Cancellation of the reservation due to meteorological reasons.
Cancellation procedure
Cancellation must be communicated in writing to info@vilanovapark.com no later than 48 hours before arrival, except in the case of an accident or breakdown en route.
The campsite may request supporting documentation, in accordance with the principle of proportionality and in compliance with data protection regulations.
Refund
Once the effective coverage of the cancellation guarantee has been verified and approved, the amount of the reservation will be refunded, minus the cost of the guarantee itself and 20 euros in management costs, using the same payment method used to make the reservation.
The amount pending payment can be used to make a new reservation on other dates, thus avoiding the costs of the refund.
Acceptance
Taking out this guarantee is voluntary and optional.
By checking the corresponding box during the booking process, the client declares to have read, understood and accepted these conditions.
What happens if I don’t take the cancellation guarantee?
If you don’t take out the cancellation guarantee you will be subject by the general conditions of contract regarding the cancellation of the reservation, which are the following:
General Cancellation Conditions
During the period of Easter and from June 15 to September 15, by giving notice:
- Before 30 days of arrival….95% refund (minimum €20 for refund management)
- Between 15 and 29 days………………………50% refund
- Between 7 and 14 days…………………………….5% refund
- Less than 7 days…………………………….0% refund
The rest of the year, the reservation can be cancelled free of charge, except for the €20 for refund management, up to 7 days before arrival. If cancellation is not notified in advance, the reservation amount will not be refunded.
